摘　　要： 介绍了桂元星教授首创的 ηξ时空理论 ,该理论建立在黑洞热力学和热场动力学的基础之上 .这一理论为有限温度场论的研究提供了背景时空 ,很可能成为量子场论研究中的一个新工具 .目前 ,ηξ时空已被国外学者称为桂氏时空 . A brief review on ηξ spacetime theory initiated by Prof.Gui is presented. Based on black hole thermodynamics and thermofield dynamics,Guis spacetime provides a spacetime background for finite temperature field theory and should be useful for studying quantum field theory. The ηξ spacetime is named Guis spacetime by international academia.
