摘　　要： 通过分析材料类本科专业发展的历史和现状 ,总结出我国专业设置的经验和教训 ,探讨材料类本科专业的设置模式 ,提出材料类本科以材料科学与工程大学科设置专业和专业方向的设想 。 By looking back the development of undergraduate courses of materials discipline in Chinese universities and examining existing conditions of the area, the paper presents experiences and lessons on the specialties arrangement of higher education in the country. Various schemes of the specialties arrangement are discussed with respect to the mentioned discipline. A concept of the matter is suggested that universities majoring in materials science and engineering be established and furthermore specialty aspects be set up in the universities proposed.
