摘　　要： 总结了近20年水稻根系研究中形态建成规律、活力功能机理、根系与产量形成关系、环境因子对根系影响及根系性状遗传特性等内容 ,并依据水稻根系研究现状、结合作者自己研究经验 ,对水稻根系理想形研究、根系与群体光合生产力关系的研究和水稻根系性状遗传育种改良研究。 Advances of studying rice root systems studies were reviewed in detail for the past20years,including growth regularity of rice roots,functions and vigor of rice roots,relationship between biological yield and rice roots,impacts of environments on rice roots and genetic character of roots.With the analysis of current research status,the further direction of development on rice root systems was predicted.Which would include①to find the idotype on rice roots,②to ascertain the relation between rice roots and group phoˉtosynthetic productivity,③to improve rice root traits through breeding.
