摘　　要： 介绍了在清末民初时期出现的侦探小说翻译热潮 ,并根据描述翻译学理论 ,通过分析当时翻译侦探小说的篇内特征和篇外因素来阐明导致此次翻译热潮的种种因素。文章认为 ,此次翻译热潮并不是一件孤立的翻译事件 ,它的产生有着深刻的社会、文化和文学传统背景。 Based on the descriptive translation theories, the paper discusses the causes of the upsurge of detective story translations appeared in late Qing by analyzing their intratextual features and extratextual factors. The paper concludes that the upsurge, rather than an isolated translation event, has profound social, cultural and literary tradition background behind it.
