摘　　要： 语言是文化的载体,学习者只有对文化背景知识有较充分的认识,才能熟练、准确、得体地使用英语。高职教育培养的是技术、生产、管理、服务等领域的高等应用型专门人才,所以教师需要结合高职学生将来的工作,对文化信息进行筛选、舍取,对文化内容要有选择地讲解,高职英语文化输导内容应体现"实用为主、够用为度"的原则。 Language is the carrier of culture.Only by understanding the cultural background knowledge can one use the language proficiently,correctly and appropriately.The objective for higher vocational education is to train practical talents in production,technology,service,management,etc.So in cultural education teachers should adhere to the guidelines of practical application preference and sufficient degree,highlighting the usefulness and application of teaching contents.
