摘　　要： 湛江历史建筑具有传统建筑风格的和谐之美和欧式建筑风格的浪漫之美。但它在保护改造,协调其与城市之间的关系已成为当务之急。作者指出它在城市发展中存在的与城市交通、城市市容美化、城市现代化的不协调,以及与现代化商业经营的不适应,提出应定位历史建筑,多渠道进行保护;新旧建筑的衔接附会,利用旧建筑发展新内容;整合弘扬历史建筑文化以及用法制手段严格控制的建议。 The historical architecture in Zhanjiang,a city on the Guangzhou Bay,embodies the harmony of traditional architecture and romanceof European architecture. But these buildings do not conform with new development in traffic and modern commerce. The historical buildingshould be recognized and rated,and be preserved by various ways. New functions can be instilled in old ones,and linkage can be madebetween the old and new.[
