摘　　要： 流行的权威性辞书对"别集"所作的界定均不准确,这里重新作界定。《四库全书》集部别集类所收书既不设细目,也不使用术语,缺少宏观驾驭性,这里对别集再进行两个层次的分类,并对每类分别作出界定,希望能引起统一学术术语的讨论。 The definitions of 'a separate collection' in those popular and authoratative dictionaries are all incorrect. This thesis tries to make a new definition of it. The books collected in the separate collections in the Complete Works of Chinese Classics neither keep an enumeration nor use a technical term. They lack a macro mastery. The thesis redivides the separate cllection into two categories, each of which is well defined. It is hoped that a discussion will arise on a unified technical term.
