摘 要: 数十年来延续传承的矿冶文化是黄石地区最具代表性的主流文化,为宣传黄石地区特色文化,使其能真正达到影响、感召、吸引国外受众的效果,外宣翻译是最重要的手段之一。外宣翻译的译文能否被国外受众接受及认同,最关键的在于外宣翻译译文的内容与形式是否能达到相应的劝说与交流的效果。因此,该文针对黄石矿冶文化的英译现状,在西方现代修辞学理论的指导下,研究矿冶文化的翻译策略,旨在提高外宣译者的修辞意识,使黄石矿冶文化真正"走出去"。 Mining and Metallurgical culture is the most representative and mainstream culture in Huangshi and has been continu?ously inherited for decades. As one of the most important ways in the development of local culture in Huangshi, foreign publicity translation could truly affect and appeal to foreign audiences. Whether the foreign publicity translation could be accepted and ap?proved by foreign audiences mainly lies in whether the effect of persuasion and communication will be achieved both in its form and content. Based on the current situation of English translation about mining and metallurgical culture in Huangshi, this article studies the translation strategy of mining and metallurgical culture under the theory of modern western rhetoric in order to im?prove the awareness of translators and make the mining and metallurgical culture in Huangshi well-known to all over the world.
