摘　　要： 普通英语专业的学生,在进入各行业,开始专业性翻译的时候,都会经历一个较长的困难时期,面临种种困难,如专业术语,专业知识等等,目前大专院校开设的英语专业,通常都是教授普通英语,注重培养学生的听说读写译的能力,偏向于学生语言能力的提高。该文从目的论的角度,分析了译者在这个过程中发挥主体作用的重要性,并就在职业发展的道路上,成长为专业化人才的提出了具体的建议。 When the students of English major enter various industries and start the specialized-subject translation, they will go through a hard time, facing many difficulties, such as terminology, domain knowledge, ect.. At present, the general English is the main focus of the English majors, which emphasizes the promotion of the competence of listening, speaking, writing and translat-ing. The important role of translator in overcoming the difficulties is expounded from the perspective of Skopos Theory and spe-cific recommendations for becoming professional translator in various industries are proposed in this essay.
