摘　　要： 英雄悲剧往往表现为政治斗争、阶级斗争和民族斗争。它通过悲剧主人公所遭受的苦难和英雄事迹来激发观众的怜悯和恐惧。文章结合弥尔顿的生活经历和伟大作品,通过研究清教徒弥尔顿和人文主义者弥尔顿内心的矛盾冲突来探索诗人的悲剧精神。 Heroic tragedy is often manifested in political, class and national struggle. It can stimulate the audience's pity and fear through the sufferings and deeds of the tragic hero. This thesis studies the contradiction between Milton the Puritan and Milton the Humanist, aiming at exploring his tragic spirit based on his experiences and great works.
