摘 要: 作为中介语构建过程中的一个重要方面,形式-意义映射长久以来吸引着众多二语习得研究者的注意。该论文试图通过研究英语进行体的习得来考察形式-意义映射在中国英语学习者中是建立情况。研究发现学习者对英语进行各个意义的习得不完整。造成这种情况的一个重要原因是形式和意义映射不是在使用的语境中建立的。完整的形式和意义映射的建立以及在正确的语境中有意义地使用某一语言形式的能力在很大程度上取决于学习者能否有机会接触到在真实语境中形式被用于表达某一意义。 As an important aspect in the construction of interlanguage,the mapping of form and meaning has long attracted the attention of SLA researchers.This paper tries to establish the mechanism of the mapping between form and meaning by looking at the acquisition of English progressives.It is found that the mapping from form to meaning is not successful among Chinese English learners.It is argued that on important reason it that learners don't have enough access to authentic use of the forms.Successful and complete mapping can only occur when the learners are repeatedly exposed to real situations where the forms are used.
