摘　　要： 乡村歌曲是美国流行音乐的一个分支,深受人们的喜爱。它是美国民族文化的一个缩影。在乡村歌曲中,叙事歌曲占了相当大的一部分,许多乡村歌曲本身就是一个故事,这些故事是乡村音乐的基本元素。该文从一个特别关注歌词文体特征的敏感读者的角度对美国叙事性乡村歌曲歌词的文体进行研究。该研究以系统功能语言学中的及物性系统为文体分析模式探讨及物过程在歌词中的体裁类型、故事情节和人物个性的展开中所起的作用。大量的歌词表明不同的过程选择体现出不同作家的文体风格。在分析的过程中,注重歌词与歌词之间的横向与纵向的比较。通过本课题的研究让人们对于歌词中所体现出的美国社会和现实生活有更深入的了解,从而理解并欣赏美国乡村歌曲。 Country music,as a branch of American popular music,is loved by audience in America and other parts of the world.It is an epitome of national culture in America.In country music,narrative songs account for a considerable part.Almost every narrative song tells a story,take 16 narrative songs for example,which is the basic element in country music.This paper tries to study the lyrics of American narrative country songs,from the perspective of a reader who are very interested in stylistic features of lyrics.The study focuses on the functions in the genre,plot and personality of the story in the lyrics by way of transitivity analysis.A large number of lyrics suggest that the processes of difference choices reflect different writer's literary style.In the process of analysis,the comparisons between lyrics are especially concerned.Through the research,people will have a deep understanding of life and society in America,thus can fully understand and enjoy country songs.
