摘　　要： 奈保尔的《米格尔街》是对加勒比地区特立尼达被殖民历史的书写。小说展现了畸形社会下弱势群体的悲哀与人物命运的乖蹇。该文从叙事学之叙述话语角度出发,将文本细读与分析相结合,探讨了小说叙述话语的深层意义、引述语的直接音效、非标准式英语和克利普索小调的视觉成像,以及小说修辞上的特色。指出小说叙述话语的巧妙运用正是叙述主题得以深化的重要原因。 Naipaul's Miguel Street is the historical writing of colonialism in Trinidad of Caribbean area. The sadness and misfortune of the socially disadvantaged group are depicted in the novel. The paper discusses and analyzes the deep meaning of narrative discourse, the sound effect of direct speeches, the function of non-standard English, Calypso and the rhetoric methods in terms of narrative discourse. It is pointed out that the deepening theme lies in the skillful use of the narrative discourse in the novel.
