摘 要: 本文提出了一种新型的具有高调制度和宽线性范围的太赫兹电光取样装置.该设计采用与传统45°偏置电光取样装置类似的光路,将电光晶体的输出光一分为二,通过适当调整两组四分之一波片和检偏器的取向,就可以实现调制度的大幅提高.采用琼斯矩阵理论,对光在该电光取样装置中的传播行为进行详细的研究,给出了输出信号的解析表达式,为有效提高调制度提供理论依据.结果表明,在调制度大幅提高的情况下,这种新型电光取样装置能够保持传统45°偏置电光取样装置的宽线性范围的优点. A new kind of terahertz electro-optic sampling device with high modulation depth and wide linear range is presented.The design can highly increase the modulation depth through adjustment of the orientations of the two group quarter waveplates and polarizers.The propagation of light through the device is studied in detail using the Jones matrix theory.The analytical expressions of the output signal are given,which provides a theoretical basis to improve the modulation depth.The result demonstrates that this kind of terahertz electro-optic sampling device can highly increase the modulation depth and maintain a wide linear range.
