摘　　要： 1980年代中期以后,现、当代文学命名及分期问题引起了广泛关注,现、当代文学史研究与书写形成了"整体观"与"断代式描述"并行的格局。毋容置疑,整体观是发展趋势。目前来看,"中国现当代文学"是可行的最有效的命名,至于分期,则以模糊处理为宜。建议将现有的中国现代、当代文学两门课程整合为"中国现当代文学"。 In the late 1980s, the problem of naming and division for Chinese modern and contemporary literature attracted broad attention. The study and writing of Chinese modern and contemporary literature history has the collateral situation of thinking as a whole and description by stages. It is clear that the integrative division view is the trend of development. At present, Chinese modern and contemporary literature is the most practicable and appropriate naming; as for the division, it is reasonable to be equivocal. It is advisable to unite Chinese modern literature and Chinese contemporary literature in one course, namely the Chinese modern and contemporary Literature.
