摘　　要： 应用原型批评的观点,对比研究《呼啸山庄》的复仇主题与古希腊悲剧家欧里庇得斯的《美狄亚》的复仇主题,提出希斯克利夫与美狄亚由失去爱而产生恨、由恨转向复仇的过程基于同一悲剧模式;希斯克利夫的塑造就是对美狄亚神话原型的"移用"。 Through the approach of Archetypal Criticism, this essay concentrates on a comparative analysis of the revenge theme in Medea and Wuthering Heights. Based on detailed analyses, it puts forward the conclusion that both Heathcliffs and Medeas revenge is the result of hatred and the loss of love, which falls into the category of a tragic archetype, and that Heathcliff is just a 'displacement' of Medea.
