摘　　要： 每年一次的学校运动会是学校最大型的体育活动,运动会举办的成功与否直接影响着学生们参加体育运动的积极性以及体育意识的形成,利用文献资料法、访谈法等方法,通过对江门职业技术学院传统田径运动会出现的弊端,如竞技性强、参赛项目设置过于单一、只有少数体育尖子生参与、体育文化氛围不浓等状况的分析,提出高职院校传统田径运动会应当朝着淡竞技、重能力、重普及和趣味性相结合的方向发展。即传统田径运动会向体育节转轨,使更多的学生参与到体育活动中来,培养体育兴趣,增强体育意识,为终身体育打下坚实的基础。 Along with the development of the times,the progress of the society and the advance of the quality education,Through the analysis of competitive strength,single item,to participate in the competition,a small number of sports cultureatmosphere in the entire process by the unified organization,teachers and other characteristics of the Jiang men Polytechniccampus.The traditional track and field games,according to the characteristics of the new curriculum under the goal of physicaleducation and students'knowledge ability,we should in light of sports,ability and popularity and interest combined withthe direction of development of Higher Vocational Colleges sports track and field,which is held in the sports section,whichenables more students to participate in sports activities,cultivating sports interest,enhance the sense of sports,to lay a solidfoundation for life-long sport.
