摘 要: 当前语言服务业的业务范围已远远超出了传统意义上的翻译行业,对人才的需求也发生了相应变化,职业型翻译硕士的培养理应顺应这一发展趋势。基于这一理念,本文以全球语言服务供应商在网络这一媒介中发布的招聘广告为切入点,从招聘广告对职业岗位能力的描述中归纳出国际语言服务业对翻译人才的资质要求和能力需求,重点分析了4类翻译人才的职业能力特征,以期为翻译硕士专业(MTI)教育建立更完善的人才培养体系提供借鉴,从而为全球语言服务行业输送更多优秀的从业者。调研结果显示,国际语言服务业对医疗服务等专业领域翻译人才的需求巨大,重视对各类小语种人才的储备。同时,国际语言服务业在对口译、笔译、项目经理、质量管理类岗位从业人员的能力要求方面不断细化、各有侧重。 At present,software localization,website globalization,audiovisual translation,marketing translation and language technology development are changing the landscape of language service industry,affecting relative job and employment requirements. This trend calls for a reflection on present MTI education. This paper presents a survey on the recruitment advertisements posted online by the world Top 100 language service providers( LSP). By comparing their demand levels on different practitioner capabilities in four major job categories,the paper provides a more sophiscated understanding of the capability requirements for practitioners of translation,aiming to shed some light on MTI education. Based on the investigation results,the the paper offers five suggestions,hoping that MTI education in China could be geared to the changing environment of translation.
