摘　　要： 园艺专业英语是高校园艺类专业选修课程。在园艺专业英语中出现频繁的是长难句子,这些句子科学、严谨、逻辑性强,是翻译中比较难处理的部分。文章以具体实例对园艺专业英语中出现的长难句子的特点进行解析,并讨论其常用的翻译技巧。 Special English for Horticulture is a selective course for horticulture majors in colleges. Long and difficult sentences which occur frequently in special English for Horticulture are difficult part in translation since they are quite scientific, rigorous and logical. This paper uses specific instances to analyze the characteristics of long and difficult sentences and discuss some commonly used translation skills in Special English for Horticuhure.
