The traditional belief that translations could be read as original has masked the identity and visibility of translators. The emergence of discourse and ideology studies has shed light on what translations really look like:the translated works are often represented by the translators in the textures differently according to their sexes,i.e.the sex interventions can be traced back in the process of textural formation. This paper examines the representations of sex ideologies at the levels of lexis and syntax in translation, from which the narrative perspective is explored in translation.
