摘　　要： 以华南农业大学林学专业建设为探索对象,指出林学专业是以林学学科为主要支撑的实践性较强的应用型专业,而实践教学在应用型人才培养体系中占有极其重要的地位。认为华南农业大学林学院在林学专业建设中,以实践教学为突破口,重点从人才培养方案的修订、整合实验与实习、实验室建设、大学生科技创新、实习基地建设、农事训练中心建设、毕业实习与毕业论文等方面对实践教学的内容、方法和模式进行探索与改革,在巩固学生理论知识、全面提高学生的专业素质、增强科技创新能力和独立科研能力、拓宽就业渠道中发挥重要作用。 With construction of forestry major in South China Agricultural University as object,forestry major is an applied major emphasized on practice and sustained by forestry subject.The practice teaching plays a very important role in the cultivating system of applied students.In order to consolidate the students theory knowledge,improve professional quality,strengthen technological innovation ability and the independent research ability,broaden employment channels,the contents,methods and modes of practice teaching were explored and reformed including the student training scheme,experiment and practice,laboratory construction,students＇ science and technology innovation,construction of practice base and agricultural training center,graduation practice and thesis in the construction of forestry major in South China Agricultural University.In this paper,the experiences were summarized and discussed.
