摘 要: 长期以来,做好事不留名是我国正统教育所推崇的,几乎成了一个流行的程式,雷锋便被视为这方面的典范。而做好事留名往往被怀疑为动机不纯,有图回报的利己倾向,是道德不够高尚的表现。其实,这种认识是不能成立的。重新认识这一问题的关键在于如何理解利己这一概念。利己在理论上只是一个中性词,并非意味着不道德。做好事留名与不留名通常并不关涉道德问题,而是一个个人的意愿和选择问题,无论作何选择,其指向都是利己。经对大量文献的考证,可以肯定地说,雷锋做好事大多是留名的,但这一事实并不影响雷锋的光辉形象,反而有助于增强雷锋精神的真实性和可学性。 'Doing good deed without revealing one's name'has been advocated by China official education for decades,and people as LEIFeng is the model of such behavior,while'Doing good deed with revealing one's name'was regarded as being immoral and self-interested. Actually,this may be inappropriate. The key to understand this is the way we recognize the meaning of being self-interested. The fact is that'self-interested'is not necessarily good or bad: it is neutral. 'Doing good deed with / without revealing one's name'originated mostly from individual's choice rather than one's moral motivation. Whatever choices one made is basically self-interested. With the analysis on related literature about LeiFeng,we could conclude that LeiFeng did good deed with revealing his name in most case. And this will not damage his image,on the contrary,this would make his experience more believable and practical.
