This paper employs the methods of literature data and quantitative statistics to gener- alize the characteristics of sixty-eight golf stars all over the world and discuss the factors that influence their growth. The results show that international golf stars own the characteristics of long life span of sports, short golden period of career and the tendency to achieve fame at a younger age. The highest ranking is positively related to career-starting-age and fame-a- chieved-age. The length of golden matrix is negatively related to both ages and the width is negatively related to the latter. Based on the further theoretical study of these findings, the au- thors believe that the government, club and family should work together to cultivate profession- al golfers.
