摘　　要： 容闳是中国近代学习西方的先驱者。他立志西学东渐,振兴国家。在美国耶鲁大学毕业后,容闳随即回国投入到实业强国、教育救国的艰难历程中。他与时俱进,与各派政治力量积极接触,为实现强国梦倾注了毕生的心血。 Rong Hong was a pioneer in learning from the west in modern Chinese history. He determined to introduce western learning to reinvigorate China. After graduating from the American Yale University,he returned to China to devote himself to the cause of saving and strengthening China through industry and education. He kept pace with the times and actively engaged with different political forces,and made life-long painstaking efforts to realize the? dream of a powerful China.
