摘　　要： 经济学是现代社会科学中理论与研究方法最为成熟的学科,其科学的分析工具和严密的理论体系成为社会科学的典范。在当代西方社会科学领域,经济学理论与方法向其他学科的扩展与渗透造成了"经济学帝国主义"。对于"经济学帝国主义"现象,学术界一直有不同的看法。从政治学角度来看,在"经济学帝国主义"背景下,不少西方学者将经济学研究方法引入民主理论研究中,运用经济学的均衡分析方法、博弈论方法、定量研究方法等,对当代世界民主化进程进行了富有洞见的分析、解释和理论预测,深化了民主理论研究,为民主理论研究注入了新活力。随着学科之间的相互交流与相互融合,经济学帝国主义向社会科学联邦主义的转变已悄然开始。 Economics is one of the most mature disciplines in modern social sciences in its theory and research meth-ods, and with its analysis tool and rigorous theory system, economics have made it become a model of studying the social sciences. Some people use ‘economics imperialism' to illustrate the overwhelming influence of economics. In this context, many western scholars have brought economics research methods into the research of democratic theory, using the equilibrium analysis method, game theory, quantitative research methods. By all those and deepening the democratic theory research, they have produced an insightful theoretical construction and interpretation of democratic process in the contemporary world, and injected some new vitality to the devel-opment of political science.
