摘 要: 《国家中长期教育改革与发展规划纲要(2010—2020年)》将继续教育单独列为一章,并以"继续教育"一词表述了成人教育。本文追寻国家文件涉及"成人教育"问题时所使用概念的演变轨迹,梳理出其用词从"成人教育"到"继续教育"的演变过程,并在此基础上探讨国家文件用"继续教育"表述成人教育的价值。认为其价值主要体现在四方面:为实践形态正名,对"成人教育"重新定位,构建终身教育体系,与国际继续教育发展接轨。 Continuing education is a separate chapter in National Plan for Medium and Long term Education Reform and Development(2010 2020), in which Continuing Education is used to represent Adult Education. On the basis of evolution of the concept of "Adult Education" in related national file, we comb the evolution.process of the word from "Adult Education" to "Continuing Ed ucation", and then explore the value of using "Continuing Education" to represent "Adult Educa tion" in national files. The value is reflected in the four main areas: justifying for adult education, repositing adult education, constructing lifelong educational system, adapting to the trend of the in ternational development.
