摘　　要： 乔治·奥威尔的《一九八四》是20世纪最著名的政治小说,反乌托邦的经典之作。村上春树的《1Q84》是向《一九八四》致敬的畅销作品。两部小说在主题和文学手法方面有许多共通之处。文章从象征与隐喻,讽刺与夸张等文学手法上进行对比分析,进一步挖掘两部小说的文学艺术之美。 ＂1984＂ by George Orwell is the twentieth century＇ s most famous political novel, and also a dystopian clas- sic. ＂1Q84＂ by Haruki Murakami, one of his best-selling works, pays a tribute to ＂1984＂ . The two novels have much in common in themes and literary techniques. This paper digs into the literary and artistic beauty of the two novels via compara- tive analysis of some of the literary techniques such as symbolism vs. metaphor and irony vs. exaggeration.
