摘　　要： 本文针对传统精读课教学以教师讲解为主的不足 ,提出改“教师为中心”为“学生为中心”的观点 ,认为学生应在教师的指导、帮助下 ,通过小组活动、上讲台讲课等形式 ,逐步学会如何分析语言材料 ,从而不断提高学生的自学能力。 As we know, the traditional teaching for intensive reading course(IRC) lacks student's active participation. Form the author's viewpoint, the teaching of IRC should be student-centred. Student's autonomy in learning English should be encouraged and cultivated via group activities and peer teaching under the teacher's proper guidance and adequate assistance. [
