摘　　要： 现当代西方对性的研究主要集中在心理学、人类学、社会学、生理学、哲学等几大领域。西方对性的认识从生物学开始而逐步走向全面。西方从生物学的微观角度研究了性的价值及其副作用。西方性伦理学研究有传统观点和性自由主义两派;霭理士提出"性道德论";马尔库塞认为爱欲是人的本质,提出为解放爱欲而战;赖希号召开展性革命。西方性伦理观有失偏颇甚至是错误的,但也有不少很有价值的东西。西方"性解放"的原因是多方面的,性解放导致了一系列严重的社会恶果,因而现在西方学者开始反思"性解放"。当代西方性研究取向出现了多元化,研究方法之间存在着矛盾冲突,最近出现了"后现代主义"的思潮,向传统方法提出了挑战。 Modern and contemporary western sex research mainly focuses on psychology, anthropology, sociology, physiology, philosophy and so on. From the microscopic view of biology, western scholars studied the value of sex and its side effects. There are two schools of western sexual ethic studies： traditional ideas and sexual liberalism. Elis put forward ＂morality of sex＂. Mareuse thought lust is the essence of human beings, and put forward fighting for the liberation of lust. Laic called for sexual revolution. There are many reasons for western ＂sexual liberation＂. Sexual liberation caused a series of serious social problems, so now the western scholars began to reflect the ＂sexual liberation＂. Contemporary western sex research appears diversified. There are conflicts among research methods. Now there are postmodernist trend of thoughts which put forward a challenge to traditional methods.
