摘　　要： 就政治动机对翻译伦理的钳制作用开展探讨,本文试图揭示政治动机与翻译伦理之间的关系。视政治动机为翻译评价的重要参数之一,可以明确翻译评价体系务必包含这样的理念:不同的政治动机势必对翻译伦理产生钳制作用,即政治动机对翻译伦理取向势必产生影响。这种认识有助于翻译评价过程中避免强调规定性,忽视描写性。 Based upon the discussion about the grip of political motivation over translation ethics, this paper aims at bringing to light the relationship between political motivation and translation ethics. Seeing political motivation as one of the important parameters in translation evaluation may clarify that translation evaluation system must consist of a concept that various political motivations are sure to clamp down on translation ethics; in other words, the for- mer is sure to produce certain effects on the orientation of the latter. This cognition helps avoid the fact that pre- scriptive-hess is emphasized whereas descriptiveness is ignored in the process of translation evaluation.
