摘　　要： 汉密尔顿的军事思想为确立美国的军事体制起了重大作用,他主张建立强有力的中央政权,给总统以较大军权。为防止军事权力的蜕变,防止政府侵犯人民和小州的利益,他提出了一些防范的措施。他认为职业军队是国防的基础,主张建立一支"可扩大的"正规军,强调军队的职业化建设是通过教育实现的。他建议,在缺少正规军时,应依靠一支"纪律良好的民兵"。他把海军放在最重要的地位,还把发展工业与国防密切联系在一起。 Hamilton＇s military thoughts lay sound foundation for the establishment of American military system.He proposes powerful central government and president＇s authority in military operations.Hamilton brings forward some precautious measures to prevent military power from corruption and government from violation of the interests of average citizens and less prominent states.He holds that professional army is the foundation of military defense.Hence,he puts forward the idea of building a regular army that can be expanded accordingly.In addition,he stresses that the professional construction of the army is achieved by means of education.According to him,disciplined militiamen are reliable in case of lack of a regular army.Hamilton emphasizes the prominent role of the navy and associates the development of industry with military defense.
