摘 要: 20世纪60年代兴起的PPP语言教学模式(Presentation-Practice-Production,即"展示-练习-输出")曾一度被认为是第二语言教学界最为流行和普遍使用的语言教学途径。但是其在盛行多时之后,也开始备受争议。近年来,西方学者对这一教学模式一直没有停止过新的争论和解读,也有学者在不断地对其进行尝试性的变革与创新,如EAS模式、PPPPE模式、PPPEE模式等。关注这些,重新审视其价值,将对国内的英语教学、对外汉语教学及其他外语教学大有裨益。 The PPP language teaching model has been very popular and widely used in the field of second language teaching since 1960s.However,it gradually became more and more controversial.In recent years,western scholars have never stopped their interpretation of and discussion about this long-lasting popular teaching model.Some scholars have tried to make new adaptation and reforms to it,while others have attempted to propose new approaches.This paper attempts to reevaluate the PPP model from a critical and developmental point of view.In a word,it is very important for second language teachers to pay close attention to the new development of second language teaching and research.
