摘　　要： 在翻译领域,对名著或经典进行重译是一种常见现象。"外汉翻译教学研究基金项目"由中国外语教育研究中心、外语教学与研究出版社联合推出,重译系列外语经典书目。本文对作者所承担的部分项目进行了重译的实践层面研究。结果表明,针对所涉及项目,重译不仅可行而且必要,新译本是对原译本的较大改进,使原文在新历史时代能够面向更大的受众,其翻译模式也可从实践层面更好地促进翻译教学。 Retranslation is a familiar practice in the field of translation. Translation Teaching and Research Project from Foreign Languages into Chinese is a joint program sponsored by National Research Center for Foreign Language Education and Foreign Languages Teaching and Research Press. It is dedicated to the retranslation of foreign classics. This paper is a study of retranslation from the practical perspective based on the projects undertaken by the author. It is shown that retranslation of these classics is both necessary and feasible. Compared with the old versions, the new translations demonstrate substantial improvement and can better convey the original to a larger audience in the new era. The mode of production adopted in the project can also benefit translation teaching to some extent.
