摘 要: 语境理论近年在英语教学和笔译研究方面得到了广泛应用,相较而言口译的研究较为笼统。以多义词的口译为研究对象,Sperber&Wilson认知语境分析和阐释了影响多义词口译的语言因素和非语言因素。非语言因素即谈话双方构建的氛围,谈话发生的时间、地点,场合以及说话人表情动作,及其表现出的心理活动乃至交际双方的文化背景知识等,旨在灵活地得出符合认知语境的推断,更好地应用于口译实践。 The concept of context has been wildly applied in English teaching and translation studies but barely touched in interpretation. In this essay, two factors which affecting interpretation of polyse- mous words are summarized in Sperber&Wilsoffs cognitive context. Non linguistic factors include the over all communication atmosphere contributed by both parties, the time, place communication occurs, the fa- cial expressions, body languages presented by speakers as well as their physiological activities and cultural backgrounds. Those two factors are summarized by the author, aiming at flexibly achieving the reasonable deductions on the basis of cognitive context and better applied in interpretation.
