摘　　要： 陆川猪产于广西东南部的陆川县,主要分布于玉林、钦州、梧州等地。历史悠久,是中国八大地方优良猪种之一,具有繁殖力高、母性好、抗逆性强、肉嫩味鲜、体型紧凑、遗传力稳定等优点。陆川猪越来越受到许多学者的关注,这方面的研究,还有很多的工作等待去做。现在,对陆川猪的生物学特性、优良品种特征进行综述和展望,为陆川猪资源开发和利用提供科学的理论依据。 The Luchuan Pig, derived from the Luchuan county of the south-east of Guangxi province in China, is mostly distributed in many places, such as, the Luchuan county, Yulin, Qinzhou, Wuzhou Cit- ies and so on. There is a long breeding history of Luchuan Pig, and it belongs to the one of the eight local famous porcine breeds in China. The Luchuan Pig has high reproductive performance, good maternity,and strong resistance. Its meat is tender and fine,it also has the advantage of compact physique and firm body as well as stable heredity. So, more and more attention of many researchers is attracted by the breeding re- search in Luchuan Pig, and moreover, there are still much work to do in the future. The paper reviewed the investigation of biological characteristic and its excellent performance in the Luchuan Pig, which pro- vides a scientific theory for the exploration and utilization of the genetic resource of the Luchuan Pig.
