摘　　要： 英语翻译教学是整个英语教学中的重点难点，这不仅仅需要教师拥有渊博的中英文知识，还要在教学的过程中，对翻译的理解有所体现，才容易被学生接受。传统的英语教学中，“信、达、雅”是翻译工作中被普遍遵循的原则，已被我国许多英语教育家、翻译家所认同。英语语言学习中的基本构成则是：单词、词组短语，而后才是句子、段落和文章。我们应尽量把语言的单词、短语和翻译原则相结合，从而提高学生们的翻译能力和水平。 English translation teaching is the key point and difficulty of the whole English teaching. It not only requires that teachers should have broad and profound Chinese and English knowledge, but also need teachers to reflect the translation understandings during the teaching process. Only by this, can students easily accept it. In the traditional English teaching,＂ faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance＂ is the principle usually abided by in translating and is accepted by many English educators and translators in China. The basis constitution of English language learning is firstly words and phrases, and then sentences, paragraphs and articles. We should try to combine the translation principles with English words and phrases so as to improve students＇ translation level and ability.
