摘　　要： 随着现代工业社会的发展,社会格局急剧变化,作为传统手工艺术的湘绣遭遇了前所未有的危机,发展陷入困顿。从农耕文明与工业文明的冲突对湘绣的影响,现代社会进程中湘绣与生活方式脱离并失去个性,以及湘绣在市场经济体制下遭遇发展瓶颈等方面进行分析,揭示了湘绣面对工业文明和市场经济冲击的各种不适应性表现,剖析其衰落的原因,为湘绣的继承与发展提供理论依据。 With the development of modern industrial society, the social structure has change radically. As one kind of traditional arts, Hunan embroidery is encountering an unprecedented crisis. This paper discusses the inadaptable different characteristics of Hunan embroidery in the society, and the reasons for the phenomenon, which lie in the in- fluence of conflict from agricultural civilization to industrial civilization conflict, the lack of personality of Hunan embroidery＇s in the modem society, and the development bottleneck of Hunan embroidery in the market economy system. This research can provide beneficial suggestions for the healthy and sustainable development of Hunan embroidery.
