摘　　要： 文章针对新建本科院校英语专业毕业论文在选题、内容结构、文献资料及实践性论文四个方面现状及存在问题进行调查与梳理,毕业论文存在的问题客观上是由于新建本科院校师生科研能力较为薄弱,办学经费不足,教改相对滞后,主观上是管理层及师生对毕业论文重视度不够,建议在教师教研科研能力,学生语言综合运用能力,毕业论文监控与管理以及实践性论文环节上进一步加强提高。 An investigation is made into the cu rrent state and problems of academic paper writing of English major in newly-established universities in terms of topic selection,content and organization,literature reference and practical paper writing.Objectively,it is caused by inadequate scientific research ability of the teachers and students,lack of schooling fund,lag of teaching reforms;and subjectively,caused by the inadequate importance attached by the management,teachers and students.It is recommended that the teachers’scientific research ability,the students’comprehensive ability of language use,monitoring and management of academic paper writing and practical thesis be strengthened and improved.
