摘　　要： "美化之艺术,创优似竞赛"是许渊冲教授的中诗英译理论。该理论中的"创"字彰显了许的"创译"观。他运用"三化"法,巧用创造性翻译,凸显译者主体性,让读者"乐之",让文学翻译发展成为接受语中的翻译文学。 ＂Art of beautifulization and creation of the best as in rivalry＂ is Prof. Xu Yuanchong＇s theory of translating the classical Chinese poetry into English. The ＂creation＂ in this theory highlights his pursuit of the creative translation by using the ＂triple-method＂ theory of generalization, equalization and particularization in poetry translation, aiming at delighting his readers and developing his literary translation into the translated literature in the target language.
