摘　　要： 院校研究机构在现代大学发展中发挥着越来越重要的作用,美国"常春藤联盟"各大学都是世界一流大学,其院校研究机构的建制模式及其运行机制从一个侧面反映出美国高校院校研究机构的设置及运行情况。本文系统分析"常春藤联盟"各大学院校研究部门的机构设置、职责范围、人员配置、数据和报告特点等方面的内容,以期为我国大学院校研究机构的发展提供参考和借鉴。 Offices of institutional research play more and more important role in modem universities. By visiting the web-pages of offices of institutional research in U.S. Ivy-plus universities and collecting relevant information, this paper analyzes contents of four aspects of these offices, institutional design, scope of office duty, staff and characteristics of data and reports and then come up with some lessons which may be beneficial for the development of Chinese institutional research.
