摘　　要： 交通是城市的动脉,城市是交通的载体.通过阐明城市交通体系和武汉市区交通的总体情况,详述武汉市区交通发展的现状,分析其交通拥堵的原因,运用对比分析的方法,解释市区交通拥堵的的几个因素,并提出相关建议和对策. Transportation is the artery of the city, and the city is the carrier of transportation. This paper explains the city transportation system and describes the present traffic situation, and then elucidates Wuhan urban traffic development. In this way, the paper interprets reasons causing urban traffic jams with the method of comparative analysis. At last, several relevant suggestions and countermeasures are put forward.
