摘 要: 以母语迁移理论为依据,运用定量分析法,对粤方言区东莞理工学院2009级英语专业学生的英语语音进行了录音及问卷调查,得出了粤方言区学生常见语音错误的规律及成因,并提出对语音课程的宏观建设和教师语音教学方法应有创新意识,为粤方言区语音教学提供了参考思路。 This paper is based on theories of language transfer and employs a quantitative analytical methodology. The source materials for English pronunciation errors of Cantonese-speaking English-major students come from the 2009 class at Dong- guan University of Technology, and were obtained through original recordings and surveys conducted by the authors. This paper sur- veys the regular patterns and reasons for their most common pronunciation errors and urged the school to raise the importance of mac- ro-construction to English pronunciation courses and the innovative awareness in teaching pronunciation. Recommendations for Eng- lish pronunciation courses in the Cantonese-speaking region are offered in this paper.
