摘　　要： 在翻译过程中,译者与读者的关系至关重要。在清末社会伦理关系、政治经济状况发生重大变化的语境下,其译读关系呈现复杂性和过渡性特征,具体表现为师生关系、商客关系以及朋友关系。在任何一种关系中,译者都应该注意读者是译本生存的关键因素。 The relationship between the translator and the reader is a critical one in translating process. With the great change in the ethical relationship, political and economic situation, the translators in the Late Qing Dynasty were constrained to serve as the readers＇ tutors, friends or businessmen, which signifies that whatever the relationship between the translator and the reader is, the latter is the crucial factor for the translated text to survive the market.
