阴-阳离子表面活性剂复合改性膨润土治理苯酚废水的研究

摘  要: 选用阴离子表面活性剂十二烷基磺酸钠(SDS)与长碳链阳离子表面活性剂十二烷基二甲基苄基氯化铵(DDBAC)复合改性钠基膨润土,制备了一系列阴-阳离子改性膨润土。利用XRD和FTIR对改性膨润土进行了结构表征,结果显示膨润土的有机改性是成功的。以苯酚模拟废水作为研究对象,具体考察了两种改性剂的用量、改性膨润土投加量、pH和反应时间对废水中苯酚去除效果的影响。结果表明,当每100 g原土中加入20 mmol的SDS和160 mmol的DDBAC共同改性膨润土,且改性膨润土投加量为20 mg.L-1,pH=7.0和反应时间为20 min的条件下对苯酚的吸附效果最佳,去除率可达到80.0%。初步对改性膨润土吸附苯酚的机理及吸附热力学模型进行了探究,证实此吸附过程为放热过程。 A series of anionic and cationic surfactant jointly modified bentonite was prepared with sodium bentonite (MMT) as starting material as well as sodium dodeeyl sulfonate (SDS) as anionic surfactant modifying agent and dodecyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride (DDBAC) as long carbon chain cationic surfactant modifying agent. Structure of the modified bentonite was characterized by XRD and FTIR, and results showed that the organo - modification of bentonite was successful. Experiments were carried out taking simulated phenol containing waste water as the testing object. Effects of dosage of two kinds of modifying agent and the modified bentonite, pH and reaction time on result of the removal of phenol in waste water were specifically investigated. Experimental results indicated that for modification of 100 g of bentonite the best condition appears when dosage of SDS is 20 mmol and dosage of DDBAC is 160 mmol;while for removal of phenol in waste water, the best condition appears when the dosage of the jointly modified bentonite is 20 mg · L-1 ,PH is 7.0 and reaction time is 20 min. Under such conditions, the phenol removal rate achieves 80. 0%. Adsorption mechanism and adsorption thermodynamic model of the modified bentonite to phenol were preliminarily discussed, and the adsorption process was confirmed as an exothermic process.
