摘　　要： 自20世纪法国哲学的兴起,"他者"(Other/L'Autre)作为一个关键的视角,已被广泛地应用于女性研究、后殖民研究、族裔文学研究以及各类文化研究中。大写的"他者"似乎承担起了将一切"陌异性"(strangeness)聚集于自身的不可能的任务。然而,亟待解决的问题也许并不是在文本的符号游戏中指认出他者并批评文本再现他者的方式,而是反思关于他者的研究的预设条件,即他者可以被再现、言说并纳入批评的主题化(thematized)。本文从当代法国哲学家列维纳斯(Emmanuel Levinas)关于他者的理论出发,探讨他者对言说的我/主体的"不抵抗的抵抗",即一种意向性之外的他性(alterity)如何成为可能。文学研究在思考、企及这"不可能的他者"的同时也暴露出自身的合法性危机,或许这一绝境(aporia)正是当代文学批评内在矛盾之所在。 With the thriving of the twentieth-century French philosophy, Other （L＇Autre）, as an essential critical perspective, has been widely used in feminism, post- colonialism and many other types of literary and cultural studies. The capitalized Other seems to perform the impossible task of gathering up to itself all Sorts of strangeness. The issue at stake here, however, is not to differentiate the Other in the play of signifiers and criticize its modes of representation, but first to reflect on the preconditions of any possible research on the Other in a given text. This paper interrogates the enunciating self/subject in light of Emmanuel Levinas＇s radical thoughts on the Other and the Other＇s ＂resistance of what has no resistance. ＂ Endeavoring to conceptualize the impossible Other, contemporary literary criticism has exposed its own crisis in this aporetic situation.
