摘　　要： 随着多媒体通信的飞速发展，人们对多媒体通信终端的研究方兴未艾。这里首先介绍多媒体通信终端的国际标准（包括H．320H．324H．323H．310和关键技术（视频图像压缩、语音处理、专用芯片、通信网络等技术），然后提出一种基于PC机的多媒体通信终端的实现方案，并指出其硬件和软件模块结构。 With the rapid development of multimedia communications the research on multimedia communications terminal is in the ascendant． The international standards for multimedia communications terminal including H．320 H．324 H．323 H．310 and the key technologies are firstly introduced in this paper． After that an implementation scheme of multimedia communications terminal based on PC is presented in this paper of which the structure of hardware and software modules is also described．
