摘　　要： 2012年10月,第十九届中国民居学术会议在广西南宁隆重召开。会议以"传承与创新"为主题,就"传统村落及民居的保护与发展"、"传统民居与地域文化研究"、"城市更新中历史文化街区的保护与利用"、"传统民居元素在现代建筑设计中的应用"四个方面展开深入的交流与探讨。 The 19th Chinese academic conference on vernacular architecture was held in Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in October 2012. The meeting’s theme is ＂Inheritance and Innovation＂ and four main topics such as protection and development of traditional villages and dwellings, vernacular architecture and its relevant regional culture, protection and utilization of historical and cultural blocks in updating cities, application of vernacular architecture elements in modern architecture design were warmly discussed.
