摘　　要： 语言是文化的重要载体,而文化是语言形式所反映的内容.任何语言都必须植根于特定的文化母体中.英汉语言方面的差异体现了中西方两种文化的差异.在外语教学中,教师不仅应指导学习者了解分属不同体系的中西方文化,更要引导学习者通过中西方文化差异的对比分析,从深层次上认识其文化差异,以利于排除以后遇到类似的文化障碍,贯彻文化教学策略. Language lies in culture. Tile difference between two Languages reflects two kinds of cuhural diversities. The cultural differences between two languages and culture are introduced in this paper, and intercultural communicative competence is also analyzed. Based on the concerned cultural factors, the cultural awareness is focused on in order to enhance college English teaching and to develop cultural education strategies as well.
