摘 要: 周绍明先生《书籍的社会史——中华帝国晚期的书籍与士人文化》一书中所谈及到关于书籍研究的学术史、区域性研究、书籍印刷等等问题,相较于以往的研究有十分重要的变化,他在综合前人在书籍的版本、目录的丰富研究上,又增加了自己对书籍史研究的新看法。他期望从社会史的角度入手,把中华帝国晚期的书籍与士人文化联系起来,试图书籍研究在时代发展中的脉络和重要性。但遗憾的是笔者并未发现作者对士人群体内部书籍流通和士人文化的变化等方面说法给出确切论证,而且关于雕版印刷成本低廉、书籍和知识是否对社会产生结构性影响的讨论付之说法也有待商榷。 Joseph P. McDermott'swork which is nameda Social History of the Chinese book-books and literati culture in late Imperial China, a book about the history of academic research on books, regional studies, book printing problems, compared to previous studies, it has the important changes in the consolidated previous versions of books, directories rich, and increased their new view of the history of the book. He expected to start from the point of view of the social history of the books of the late imperial Chinese literati culture, and trying to context the importance of books in the study in the development of the times. Unfortunately ! did not find of change of Scholar Group internal books circulation and literati culture argument he gives the exact argument, about woodblock printing low-cost, books and knowledge whether a structural impact on the community discussion pay the argument is open to question.
