摘　　要： 作为篇章连贯重构行为,翻译对语域变量之语式有必要投以关注,因为后者对前者必然产生潜在影响。借助语式这一语境参数,译者可对源语篇章结构及其功能特征理解得更为透彻,对源语篇章言语风格把握得更为准确,使两个篇章的功能对等达到最大化。翻译过程中,视语域变量之语式为不可或缺的语言语境参数有助于揭示影响翻译的潜在性因素。 As an action of textual coherence reconstruction, translation needs to pay heed to Mode--one of register variables, since the latter produces potential impact on the former as a matter of course. With the help of such a contextual parameter as Mode, a translator is capable of understanding better the structures and functional features of source text （ST）, grasping the speech style of ST more precisely, arriving at the equivalence in textual function of the two texts to the largest extent. In the process of translation, regarding Mode, a register variable, as an indispensable linguistic contextual parameter, is helpful to bringing to light potential factors influencing translation.
